The Chief Operating Officer will:
Assist the Environment Manager in developing and
tracking EMS targets and objectives.
· Ensure that sufficient monitoring of each
Division is done to track EMS targets and objectives and periodically review monitoring results.
Ensure that staff and
contractors under their supervision are aware of and adequately trained
regarding the significant environmental aspects of their work activities and the related EMS requirements.
Work with operations managers
to ensure that SOP's are maintained to support EMS
programs and provide the necessary guidance pertaining to significant environmental aspects.
Participate in the annual EMS Management Reviews.
